Dr. Iwanami is a physician and a graduate of the University of Tokyo School of Medicine (2012). He is also affiliated with Stanford University Graduate School of Biomedical Data Science, M.S., and holds the Stanford AI Graduate Certificate as well as the Stanford AI Professional Certificate.
While still in medical school in 2010, he founded his first startup, Louis Eagle Inc., assuming the role of CEO. With an extensive career in the media and entertainment field, Dr. Iwanami has published 34 books—including the "Ghost Mental Arithmetic" series, which has sold 610,000 copies—and has contributed as a puzzle creator for over 95% of the puzzles in three titles of the Nintendo Switch/3DS "Professor Layton" series and "Detective Conan Puzzle Games."
He earned a top A+ in the Data Mining and Analysis course at Stanford and, together with Kyuil Lee (who also achieved an A+), launched an AI project. His television appearances in Japan include numerous programs such as "Jounetsu Tairiku" and "Sekaiichi Uketai Jyugyou." Dr. Iwanami is also a member of MENSA.
